This is a collection of reviews that we have put together from various third-party websites on TEFL Online Pro’s Online TEFL/TESOL international certification courses.

My name is Paul, and I am the Operations Manager at tefl online pro. In 2020, tefl online pro was voted the Teachers’ Choice Award winner for the second year in a row.

I can’t stress enough the importance of (verified) third-party reviews.

Reviews published on Reddit, Quora, and other websites where the identity of users cannot be fully verified are definitely not to be considered trusted sources of company reviews.

Likewise, there are review websites, such as Trust Pilot, where it is clear to anyone with half a brain that reviews published on that site are mostly written by the companies themselves.

OK. So, let’s begin :)

  1. TEFL Online Pro reviews on Facebook.

Facebook is an excellent source for verified customer reviews because the writer of the review can easily be verified by taking a quick look at their Facebook profile. This is, perhaps, the best source for customer reviews when seeking unfiltered feedback about a company’s reputation with regards to its customers.

Currently, we have 41 customers who have independently visited our company Facebook page and left a review of their TEFL Online Pro course experience.

Some recent TEFL Online Pro reviews on Facebook:

If a company doesn’t have a Facebook presence, we suggest proceeding with extreme caution — equally so if they do have a company Facebook page and have disabled the Reviews tab.

2. YouTube.

We have been pretty late arriving to the YouTube TEFL/TESOL party, but have, in recent days, begun a company YouTube channel.

This decision was actually inspired by a gentleman named ‘Ian Leahy’, who has recently become a source of creative inspiration. More mention of this individual will be listed at the bottom of this article.

Currently, we have two TEFL Online Pro customer video reviews on the TEFL Online Pro YouTube channel, and we will be increasing this number as of when graduates come forward — of their own volition — volunteering to submit a video testimonial.

3. Trusted TEFL Reviews.

Trusted TEFL Reviews is another excellent source of verified TEFL Online Pro reviews because this popular Online TEFL/TESOL reviews website only publishes course reviews which have been confirmed as written by course graduates. Real people. Not written by TEFL/TESOL schools.

For the past seven months now, TEFL Online Pro have been placed top of the Online TEFL/TESOL certification courses ranking-out of 42 schools in total-and apart from one or two negative reviews, the majority of our customer reviews have been four or five stars, out of a maximum attainable total of five stars.

And now, we need to speak a bit about the unfortunate case of Mr. Ian Leahy.

Ian Leahy is one of our business competitors. He runs ESLinsider — a company specializing in TEFL East Asia, and a company known throughout the TEFL world as being a real nasty piece of work.

Ian spends no money on advertising for his ESLinsider TEFL courses.

Instead, he attacks his business competition — via his school blog, Reddit, Quora, Youtube, Vimeo, etc., and this is his sole means of winning new customers.

So, if you Google ‘TEFL Online Pro reviews’ you will notice a few attack posts, written by Ian Leahy, claiming that TEFL Online Pro is a “fraud” a “scam”, etc.

Ian does this because he hopes that the reader will then click through to his school website and purchase one of his (subpar) courses.

We are not the only successful Online TEFL/TESOL school to receive such unwanted attention from Mr. Ian Leahy. Pick any of the more popular schools, and Ian will have written some sort of misleading trash about it online.

An interesting fact, and one which Ian has painstakingly tried to avoid commenting on in recent weeks, is how he is unable to travel to mainland China. Why is this? He is wanted for fraud in China (yes, one of Ian’s favorite attack words) and his certificates are not worth the paper they are written on in the eyes of the Chinese authorities.

More information on this, including how Ian is directly responsible for the arrests of North American English teachers in China, who have visited his school website and who have followed through on his advice to present fake diplomas, located on the China Scam Patrol website:

This story was also taken up by Trusted TEFL Reviews, which is probably why Ian Leahy also attacks that website online — claiming that it is a fake reviews website, in order to distract people from his own serious shortcomings:

Ian Leahy will likely continue his online libel, but we are too busy looking after our customers to waste so much of our time trying to discredit Ian online. Besides, people are not silly and they can smell BS from a mile off.

So, there you go :)

Thank you for reading this TEFL Online Pro reviews article!
